RAVA LADOO
A nutritious sweet loved by the entire family. Its easy to make and
can be prepared very quickly.
Preparation time : 10 mins
Serves : 15 ladoos
INGREDIENTS
Semolina rava : 1 cup
Dry coconut : 1 cup
Sugar : 1 cup
Ghee : 1/4 cup
Elaichi : 2 to 3 nos
Milk : 1/4 cup (optional)
Cashew nuts : 10 nos
Raisins : 10 nos
METHOD :
1. Heat the pan, add 1 spoon of ghee and roast the rava in a medium flame
till nice aroma comes.
2. Grind dry coconut with sugar and elaichi to fine powder and
keep it aside.
3. After rava cools, add dry coconut and sugar powder
and mix well.
4. Meanwhile heat remaining ghee in a small pan, roast cashews and
raisins. Add this to rava mixture along with ghee and mix well.
TIPS :
1. Instead of milk you can use more ghee to make rava ladoos.
2. Ladoos can be made by medium rava too. But after roasting, grind it
to fine powder.
